Welcome to The 3rd Door Artist Studio!

The 3rd Door studio is an artist run design co-operative based in Southern Tasmania, Australia. The studio co-operative is responsible for managing and manufacturing artist quality sketchbooks and products using traditional book binding techniques and contemporary printmaking processes. Local artists and designers are employed to assist in the production of sketchbooks that are handmade and distributed to retail outlets, art shops and galleries throughout Australia. Studio artists use custom made jigs and awls to punch and prepare the sketchbooks for sewing and finishing.
